KAZAKHSTAN ESTABLISHES NON-VISA REGIME WITH 10 COUNTRIES: NAZARBAYEV

During the In the course of the 27th plenary session of the Foreign Investors Council President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev announced the establishment of a visa-free regime between Kazakhstan and 10 countries — investors with the purpose of strengthening business contacts.

“Business contacts strengthening … International cooperation should be taken along with visa free barriers. Today we declare establishment of visa free regime for citizens of 10 countries demonstrating the highest investment activity in Kazakhstan,” Nursultan Nazarbayev announced.

The list includes U.S., Netherlands, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates, South Korea and Japan, official website of Strategy 2050 reported.

As reported earlier, 27th plenary session of Foreign Investors Council under the President of Kazakhstan kicked off in Shchuchinsk-Borovoye resort area.

The meeting is expected to discuss further measures to improve the investment climate in the country, protection of investors’ rights, as well as issues of investment and technology transfer.
